However from 1 January 2005 it will relocate to Sri Lanka and be hosted by IWMI. ICUC develops sustainable technology for the improvement of underutilized plant species, their products and marketing. ICUC will be run as a hosted program of IWMI, as its theme "Improving Degraded Land through use of Underutilized Crops" and IWMI theme "Smallholder Land and Water Management" are complementary. This is an international staff position and will be on a period of two-year contractual employment.
