I am currently advertising for a Research Associate in Algebraic
K-theory. The
project will attempt to develop an algorithm for the numerical
computation of
the Borel regulator homomorphism in higher algebraic K-theory. Applicants
should have recently completed a PhD, or an equivalent qualification, in
pure
maths. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in
algebraic K-theory, cohomology of groups or a related area of algebraic
topology. Familiarity with the use of MAPLE would be an advantage. The
closing
