Dear All, on 15 June 2005 the next event in our series of "Workshops for Early Career Researchers" will take place, this time at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology in Warsaw. I would appreciate it if you could help us spread the information among young researchers in Poland, either by forwarding the message below directly to potentially interested individuals, or by posting it on relevant mailing lists and websites, or by including it in your institution's event calendar (where appropriate). Many thanks in advance, Dagmar =========================================================================== Dear Colleagues, The online magazine Science's NextWave, the "Mobility and Progression in Science Careers Project", and the Marie Curie Fellowship Association (MCFA) in collaboration with Nencki Institute Warsaw are jointly organising a Workshop for Early Career Researchers to be held at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Warsaw, on 15 June 2005. The homepage of the workshop can be found at the following internet address: http://nextwave.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/full/2005/05/06/1 The programme includes sessions on - Women in Science: Gender Balance and Fellowship Opportunities - European Mobility Programmes - What is the Alternative? Non-Academic Careers for Scientists - Presentation of Research Results from the MOBEX2 Project: "Promoting Balanced Growth in an Enlarging Europe" A complete programme will be available very soon. Registration for the workshop is already possible through the webpage mentioned above. Participation is free of charge. However, registration is mandatory since places are limited. The workshop on 15 June 2005 forms part of an ongoing series of Workshops for Early Career Researchers offered in collaboration between Science's NextWave, MCFA and varying partner organisations. Previous workshops in the series have taken place in Lisbon and Bucharest.
