HOMOTOPY AND COHOMOLOGY -- Doctoral fellowships

A new Graduiertenkolleg, funded by the DFG (German Research Foundation)
will start October 1, 2005 at the universities of Bonn, Bochum,
Duesseldorf and the Max-Planck-Institute in Bonn. We solicit
applications for 10 doctoral fellowships and 2 qualifying fellowships.

The research topics are

- stable and unstable homotopy theory,
- spectra and cohomology theories,
- operads and E_\infty-structures
- classifying spaces and cohomology of groups,
- cohomology theories of foliations.

The application deadline is ** June 30, 2005 **; due to the short
