The opportunity has arisen for TWO fully-funded (EU fees + maintenance),
three-year studentships for a PhD by research at the Department of
Politics,
International Relations and European Studies at Loughborough University.
Students must be full-time, and register by December 2003. The
Department
has a thriving postgraduate research school of almost 20 PhD students.
The
Department offers supervision in the following areas in particular:
Politics
and Public Policy (including the European Union and its member states;
comparative social policy; gender policies and policy processes;
political
thought and culture); International Relations (including the
international
relations of the EU, international and European political economy); and
European area studies.
