The Mathematics Institute of the Georg-August-University of Göttingen
is seeking applicants for the position of a tenured


W3-Professorship in Pure Mathematics
(Nachfolge tom Dieck)


with starting date of April 1, 2006.

The placement prerequisites are given by § 25 of the
"Niedersächsisches Hochschulgesetz" (Nds. GVB1.2002 page 286).

Part time employment is possible under certain circumstances.

The University of Göttingen is aiming to increase the share of female
faculty members in research and teaching. Thus qualified women are
