Re: AW: [mcfa-int] The prolongation of the Marie Curie Fellowship

Dear Jacek,

have a look at the following document:

Guide for Proposers, page 30
ftp://ftp.cordis.lu/pub/improving/docs/g_mcfh_gp_en_200002.pdf

There you find a list with the maximum total number of months that you can
benefit from a Marie Curie fellowship within the different schemes in one
of the previous framework programmes. You are a cat B20 Industry Host
fellow in FP5, so the total number of months that you can benefit from
such a grant is 24 months if you are not pursuing doctoral studies, and 36
months otherwise. If you are below these limits then in principle your
host institution can extend the contract with you, provided they still
have the requested number of "fellowship months" left in the contract they
have concluded with the Commission. Or you could apply for another
industry host fellowship at another host institute (in this case the clock
keeps ticking). Or you can apply for a fellowship at a training site from
FP5 (max. one academic year), or for a position within a Research Training
Network, .... The total amount of time that you are funded within FP5
cannot exceed 4 years.

In FP6 all these restrictions have been abolished.

Hope that helps,
Dagmar
