"Brain drain, brain gain: new challenges" (Paris, 30 June 2004)

which you might find interesting. If you are affiliated to the MCFA,
please mention this on the registration form. If you belong to the MCFA
and intend to participate, it would also be nice if you could send a short
message to the MCFA office (office@DROPMEmariecurie.org) to let us know, just to
keep an overview (this is independent from the registration with the
organisiers).

Brain Drain, Brain Gain: New Challenges

Paris, 30 June 2004

The Paris City of Science and Industry is holding an international
conference about researchers' mobility on 30 June 2004.

Ministers of research, officials, experts, young researchers... Numbers of
mostly European speakers will participate in the meeting to deliver
information and exchange their points of view about brain drain,
researchers' mobility and the attractivity of European countries. Philippe
Busquin, the European commissioner for research, will seize the
opportunity to announce the official launching of the European network of
mobility centres.

This international event is organized on 30 June by the Paris City of
Science and Industry, in partnership with 'Le Monde' newspaper and with
the help of the embassies of Germany and Italy, the British Council and
the European Commission.
