International travel grants- cri de coeur

Hello folks-
will highly appreciate if someone lets me know of what he might know on the folllowing. I run off my mouse searching for a travel grant to get to a very good workshop. Whatever I encounter makes a point in making me ineligible to apply by either means: the workshop is outside Europe (Brazil), and I'm Russian and so do not qualify for the orginizer's support (which is EMBO). Open international funds which I know of do not consider applications from postdocs, and I'm one at Moscow State University. All goes toward the inevitable that I will have to cover my travel (which is a lot) out of my yet modest scientific budget.
If someone has a slightest idea on what fund may fit this situation, please, share it with me! The worst thing of all is that be I accepted, all fees and accomodation will be paid off and I will have myself snafued for not going.

againg thanks and good luck
Leo
