extended deadline: UK Presidency Conference, London, 8/9 September2005

Dear All,

this is just a short note to let you know that the deadline for
registration for the

  UK Presidency Conference on the implementation of the
  "European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct
  for their Recruitment"

which will take place in London on 8/9 September 2005 has been extended.
The new deadline is 31 August 2005, but we hope that not everybody will
register at the very last moment!

I think that the topic of the conference is of great relevance to Marie
Curie fellows and anybody else actively involved in European research. The
MCFA will be represented at the conference through Gadi Rothenberg,
speaker in the plenary Round Table session on the first day (aimed at
introducing the workshop themes, setting the context and highlighting key
issues), and myself, member of the Steering Committee and Rapporteur of
the Workshop "How can the Charter and Code support appraisal for
mobility?". However, it would be great if there were also many other
former and current Marie Curie fellows (and in particular MCFA members) at
this conference to make sure that our voice is heard, in all the sessions
and all the workshops!
