[MCFA Int] [MCFA UK] Update: Fellow Document, Version 2.12

Dear All,

SPECIAL THANKS are going to ANNE-MARIE LEJEUNE, who has improved our
'Survival guide for MC Fellows in the UK' substantially with an extended
update of the taxation section.

The current Version 2.12 (last modified 25 February 1998) will be received
today by the TMR Information Line at the Office of Science and Technology
(OST) via snail. David Snell offered us to forward our Fellow Document to
the appropriate UK government offices for official endorsement with
particular emphasis on the taxation issues.

You can download the new Version as a MSWord6/7 file from our pages at

A HTML version of our UK Fellow Document is likely to follow soon after we
received the feedback and endorsement form the OST and the UK government.

the MCFA has now very comprehensive Documents which are designed to improve
the Marie Curie Fellowship scheme and, thus, to make studying in the host
country more attractive for current and prospective Fellows.
