Dear all,

The swedish MCFA group has decided to create a 

new international mailing list at the address

               mcfa_int@DROPMEcsb.ki.se.

This mailing list is dedicated exclusively to issues with
international character and shall serve the transnational contact and
discussion. The mailing list is meant to help in the developing common
schemes among different national groups and promote steady contact
between the association members. 

We want to separate issues with more national character from the
discussion on international topics and hope hereby to attract and
involve a bigger part of members. This separation would also give the
opportunity to receive more specific (less irrelevant) e-mail rather
than to communicate through a set of different mailing lists.

Topics as the possible revision of the legal statutes, ways of
contacts to industry, and other aspects of the present development of
the association shall be discussed on an international level giving
everybody the opportunity of taking part in the discussion.

Because the first General Assembly will take place presumably in
April, it seems to us, that the creation of an international mailing
list is necessary.

We will send an announcement of the mailing list to any member of the
MCFA in Europe, as well as to the mailing lists of the UK, France and 
Sweden and apologize for doubled or even tripled e-mails.

with the  text 

           subscribe  mcfa_int Your_FirstName   Your_LastName 

in the body of the message.

To give everybody the opportunity, to take part from the beginning, we
want to start from this week, which is used exclusively for the
subscription to the list. Posting messages will be possible from the
9th February.

The mailing list will be accompanied by a list archive accessible at 

   http://www.csb.ki.se/mcfa/maillist/mcfa_int/maillist.html.
