As Marie Curie fellows, we know how valuable mobility has been to further our professional and personal development, and the circumstances that surrounded our being or becoming 'mobile'. It is however challenging (at best!) to understand the value, and circumstances, of mobility at an aggregate level. Where has the MC fellowship really helped us, if at all? What would have happened to us if we did spend time in foreign labs and institutions? Do mobility programs such as the MCF need to be fine tuned? These are other questions are addressed in the first mobility survey. Though the idea of answering yet another survey (with no prize!) may be offputting, your participation to the mobility survey is important to shed light on a phenomenon (mobility) which is much talked about but on which very little empirical evidence exists. Thanks for your participation!
